Starting at the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 3
I made 162 for my example blanket
Row 1: Make 2 DC into the 3rd CH from your hook
Skip 2 CHs, make 3 DC into the next CH
*Skip 2 CHs, make 3 DC into the next CH
Repeat the step above from * for the rest of your row
Row 2: Make 4 CHs (counts as 1 DC + 1 CH)
Skip 3 STs or skip to 1st space between STs
Make 3 DC into that space
*Skip 3 STs or skip to next space between STs
Make 3 DC into that space
Repeat the step above from * until you have 2 STs + CHs left in your row
Make 1 CH, Skip 2 STs
Make 1 DC into the tops of the CHs at the end of the row, to complete this row
(The CH + DC match the CH 4 at the beginning of this row)
Row 3: Make 3 CHs
Make 2 DC into the 1st space between STs
(These 2 DC + 3 CHs count as 3 DC together)
*Skip 3 STs or skip to next space between STs
Make 3 DC into that space
*Skip 3 STs or skip to next space between STs
Make 3 DC into that space
Repeat the step above for the rest of this row
You would now alternate between rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
This is what the Granny Stripe Blanket should look like when completed!
