Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 3 + 2, I made 155 chains for my example blanket
Row 1: Make 1 DC into the 3rd CH from your hook
Make 1 DC into each of the next 2 CHs
So that's 3 DC made so far
*Make 3 CHs, skip 3 CHs
Make 1 DC into each of the next 3 CHs
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row
Row 2: CH 3
*Skip to next CH space, make 1 DC SP into each CH (1st CHS made) under that CH space
CH 3
Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 3 STs + some CHs left
Skip to those last CHs, make 1 SC into the top of those CHs to complete this row
Row 3: CH 3 (Counts as 1 DC)
*Make 1 DC SP into each of the 3 STs under the next CH space
CH 3
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row
You would now alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
Last Row: CH 1
Once you finish the body of your blanket, this will be the last row to make. So you can close those last holes of your blanket
*Make 1 SC into each ST until you reach a CH space
Make 1 HDC into each of the 3 STs under the next CH space
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row to complete
This is what how my Total Knockout Afghan should look like when completed!
