Photo Tutorial – Crochet Pattern: Twilight Serenity Afghan!

Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make my Twilight Serenity Afghan!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this blanket

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Slip Stitch (SL ST), tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! And how to make the Floret Stitch, tutorial here!

Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 2 + 3. I made 153 chains for my example blanket

Row 1: Make 1 DC into the 3rd CH from your hook

Then make 1 DC into each CH across to complete this row

Row 2: Make 1 CH

*Make 1 DC into the next ST

Make 1 SL ST into the next ST

Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row

Row 3: Make 2 CHs

Then make 1 DC into each ST across to complete this row

 

  

You would now alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project

This is what how my Twilight Serenity Afghan should look like when completed!
