Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Fizzy Pop Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Half Double Crochet Stitch (HDC), tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! And how to make the Half Double Crochet V Stitch (HDC V), tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 4 + 3
❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈
Row 1: Make (1 SC, 1 HDC, 1 DC) all into the 2nd CH from your hook
*Skip 3 CHs, make (1 SC, 1 HDC, 1 DC) all into the next CH
Repeat the step above from * until you only have 2 CHs left
Skip 1 CH, make 1 SC into the last CH to complete
Row 2: CH 3
Make 1 HDC into the 1st ST
Make 1 CH
*Skip 2 STs, make 1 HDC V into the next ST
Repeat the step above from * for the rest of this row
Row 3: Make 1 CH
*Skip STs, make (1 SC, 1 HDC, 1 DC) all into the next CH space
Repeat the step above from * until you only have 1 ST + CHs left
Skip 1 ST, make 1 SC into the top of those last CHs to complete
You would now alternate between Row 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
This is what the Fizzy Pop Stitch should look like when completed!
