Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Large Classic Shell Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! And how to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! And how to make the Triple Crochet Stitch (TR), tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 6 + 2

Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook
*Skip 2 CHs, make 5 TR into the next CH
Skip 2 CHs, make 1 SC into the next CH
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row
Row 2: Make 4 CHs
Make 2 TR into the 1st ST
*Skip to the middle TR of the next previous 5 TR, make 1 SC into that ST
Skip to the next previous SC, make 5 TR into that ST
Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 1 ST
Make 3 TR into that last ST to complete this row
Row 3: Make 1 CH
Make 1 SC into the 1st ST
*Skip to the next previous SC, make 5 TR into that ST
Skip to the middle TR of the next previous 5 TR, make 1 SC into that ST
Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 2 ST left
Make 1 SC into that last ST to complete this row
You would now alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
This is what the Large Classic Shell Stitch should look like when completed!
