Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Lattice Trilogy Stitch!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here!

Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 8 + 12

Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook

Make 2 CHs, skip 2 CHs

Make 1 SC into the next CH

*Make 3 CHs, skip 3 CHs

Make 1 SC into the next CH

Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 3 CHs left

Make 2 CHs, skip 2 CHs

Make 1 SC into the last CH to complete this row

Row 2: Make 3 CHs, these CHs count as 1 DC

Skip 1st ST, make 3 DC into the next CH space

Repeat the steps above from * until you reach the last CH space in this row

Make 2 DC into that CH space

Make 3 CHs

Skip 2 STs, make 1 SC into the next ST

Repeat the steps above from * until you have 1 ST + CHs left

Make 2 CHs

Make 1 SC into the top of those last CHs to complete this row

Row 4: Make 1 CH

Make 1 SC into the 1st ST

Make 2 CHs

*SK to next CH space, make 4 DCs into that space

Make 2 CHs

SK to next CH space, make 1 SC into that space

Make 2 CHs

Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 1 ST + CHs left

Make 2 CHs

Skip the last ST, then make 1 SC into the top of those last CHs to complete this row

Row 5: Make 5 CHs

Skip 1st ST, skip 1st CH space

Then make 1 SC into the next ST

*Make 3 CHs

Skip 2 STs, make 1 SC into the next ST

Make 3 CHs,

SK CH space, SK SC, SK CH space

Make 1 SC into the next ST

Repeat the steps above from * until you only have some CHs + 1 ST left

Make 2 CHs

Skip that last CH space, then make 1 DC into the last ST to complete this row

You would now repeat Rows 2, 3, 4 & 5 in order  however long you want your project

This is what the Lattice Trilogy Stitch should look like when completed!
