Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Open Larksfoot Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! And how to make the Double Crochet Spike Stitch (DC SP), tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 6 + 4

Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook, then 1 SC into the next CH, then 1 SC into the next CH
*Make 3 CHs, skip 3 CHs
Make 1 SC into each of the next 3 CHs
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row
Row 2: Make 1 CH
Make 1 SC into each ST until you reach the next CH space
*Make 3 CHs, skip CH space
Make 1 SC into each of the next 3 STs
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row
Row 3: Make 5 CHs
*Skip to the next CH space, make 1 DC into the top CH space
Make 1 DC SP into the 2nd CH space, 2 rows down
Then make 1 DC back into the top CH space
Make 3 CHs, skip to next CH space
Repeat the steps above from * until you reach the last STs in this row
Skip to the last ST in this row, make 1 DC into that ST to complete this row
Row 4: Make 1 CH
Make 1 SC into the 1st ST
*Make 3 CHs, skip CH space
Make 1 SC into each of the next 3 STs
Repeat the steps above from * until you reach the last CH space in this row
Make 1 SC into those last CHs to complete this row
Row 5: Make 3 CHs, these CHs count as 1 DC
*Make 1 DC SP into the 2nd CH space, 2 rows down
Then make 1 DC into the top CH space
Make 3 CHs, skip to next CH space
Make 1 DC into the next top CH space
Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 1 ST left
Make 1 DC into that last ST to complete this row
You would now repeat Rows 2, 3 4 & 5 in order for however long you want your project
This is what the Open Larksfoot Stitch should look like when completed!
