Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Pasadena Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! And how to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 4 + 3
❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈
Row 1: 1 DC into the 4th CH from your hook, CH 2 then make 1 SC into that same CH with the DC you just made
*SK 2 CHs, (2 DC into the next CH, CH 2, 1 SC into same CH)
Repeat the step above from * until you have 1 CH left
Then make 1 SC into that last CH to complete this row
Row 2: CH 2
Skip to next previous CH space, (1 DC, CH 2, 1 SC) into that CH space
*Skip to next previous CH space, (2 DC, CH 2, 1 SC) into that CH space
Repeat the step above from * until you have 2 STs left
Skip 1 ST, make 1 SC into the last ST to complete this row
You would now repeat Row 2 for however long you want your project
This is what the Pasadena Stitch should look like when completed!
