Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Wave & Chevron Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Half Double Crochet Stitch (HDC), tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! How to make the Triple Crochet Stitch (TR), tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Increase (SC INC), tutorial here! And how to make the Single Crochet Decrease (SC DEC), tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 6 + 2

Make a SC DEC over the last 2 STs to complete this row

Row 4 is exactly the same as Row 3, so completely repeat Row 3 for this row

Row 5: Make 3 CHs, these CHs count as 1 TR, so you can skip the 1st ST

Make 1 TR into the next ST

*Make 1 DC into the next ST,

Row 6: Make 1 CH, this CH counts as 1 SC, so you can skip the 1st ST

Then make 1 SC into each ST across to complete this row

Row 7: Make 1 CH, this CH counts as 1 SC, so you can skip the 1st ST

Then make 1 SC into each ST across to complete this row
You would now repeat Rows 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 in order for however long you want your project
