Photo Tutorial – How To Crochet: Yarn Over Slip Stitch!

Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Yarn Over Slip Stitch!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch

Starting from the beginning, make any number of chains

Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook

We will now make the Yarn Over Slip Stitch:

*Yarn over your hook 1 time

Insert your hook into the next CH, grab the yarn you're working with and pull it through, pulling up 1 loop on your hook

Bring that new loop through the other 2 loops on your hook to complete that ST

Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 1 CH left

Make 1 SC into that last CH to complete this row

Row 2: CH 1

Make 1 SC into the 1st ST

Make 1 Yarn Over Slip Stitch into each ST across:

*Yarn over your hook 1 time, insert your hook into the next CH, grab the yarn you're working with and pull it through, pulling up 1 loop on your hook, bring that new loop through the other 2 loops on your hook to complete that ST
