Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example hexagon
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a I hook for my example hexagon – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers

Chain – CH
Stitch – ST

Pattern:
Pick your favorite way to start a circle, playlist above!
Row 1: Make circle, CH 3, make 12 DC into the circle space, SL ST into the 1st CHs made to complete this row
Row 2: CH 3, 1 DC into same ST as CHs just made, *2 DC into next ST, repeat from * around, SL ST into the 1st CHs made to complete this row
Row 3: (Start at any ST) CH 4, *SK 1 ST, SC into next ST, CH 3, repeat from * around, SL ST into the 1st CHs made to complete this row
You’ll have 12 CH 3 spaces
Row 4: (Start at any previous CH 3 space) CH 2, 2 HDC into same space, CH 3, 3 HDC into same space, *SK to next space, (HDC, CH 2, HDC) into that space, SK to next space, (3 HDC, CH 3, 3 HDC) into that space, repeat from * around, SL ST into the 1st CHs made to complete this row
Row 5: (Start at any previous CH 3 space) CH 3, 2 DC into same space, CH 3, 3 DC into same space, *CH 1, SK to next space, 3 DC, CH 1, SK to next space, (3 DC, CH 3, 3 DC) into that space, repeat from * around, SL ST into the 1st CHs made to complete this row
