Starting from the beginning, make any number of chains

This is a choose your own adventure blanket! You will be working with the 3 most basic crochet stitches to make this blanket uniquely your own!
At the beginning of each row you will pick a stitch (SC, HDC or DC) then make 1 of that stitch you chose in each CH across for the first row. Same thing for any future rows, at the beginning the next row you can do that same stitch or pick another and make that row with the new stitch. Basically, this is a very random pattern. You can also choose to stay with the color you're using or change colors at the beginning of any rows you choose! I used a mix of SC rows, HDC rows and DC rows to make my example blanket above. Keep making rows until you reach your desired length. ( I usually go to 60 in. in length for my blankets)
So if you're starting your 1st row with the SC ST, make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook, then 1 SC into each CH across for Row 1
So if you're starting your 1st row with the HDC ST, make 1 HDC into the 2nd CH from your hook, then 1 HDC into each CH across for Row 1
So if you're starting your 1st row with the DC ST, make 1 DC into the 3rd CH from your hook, then 1 DC into each CH across for Row 1
To start any future rows using the SC ST, you'll start by making 1 CH
To start any future rows using the HDC ST, you'll start by making 2 CHs
To start any future rows using the DC ST, you'll start by making 3 CHs
Perfect for a mind numbing project or to get the creativity flowing!
This is what the Scraptastic Afghan looks like when completed!
