Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Invisible Double Crochet Decrease!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! And how to work in the Front Loops, tutorial here!

 

❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈

Yarn over your hook 1 time

Insert your hook into the Front Loop of the next ST, pointing your hook from front to back in that loop

Then insert your hook into the Front Loop of the next ST, pointing your hook from back to front in that loop

This is where we finish our Double Crochet like normal, yarn over your hook 1 time

Pull that yarn through both of those Front Loops, pulling up a loop on your hook

Yarn over 1 time

Bring that yarn through 2 loops on your hook

Yarn over your hook 1 time

Bring that yarn through both loops on your hook to complete your stitch

Simple as that!
