First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Slip Stitch (SL ST), tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! And how to make the Picot (PI) stitch, tutorial here!
Make CHs in the multiple of 5 + 7
❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈
Lovely Vine ST row: Make 6 CHs
(Skip this step if you are working your 1st row into CHs)
Make 3 CHs for 1st PI
SL ST into 1st CH out of the 3 just made for the PI
Make 2 CHs
1 DC into 3rd CH from previous DC in last row
(If you're working into CHs make this DC into the 10th CH from the PI you just made)
*Make 4 CHs
Make 3 CHs for next PI
SL ST into 1st CH out of the 3 just made for the PI
CH 2
1 DC into 3rd CH from previous DC in last row
(If you're working into CHs, skip 5 CHs then make this DC in the next CH)
Repeat these steps above from * until you reach the end of your row
1 DC into last ST/CH of row
This is what the Lovely Vine Stitch should look like when completed!
