Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Crochet Picot Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! And how to make the Slip Stitch (SL ST), tutorial here!
The Picot Stitch is made up of a bundle of CHs together. So I made a SC in one ST, then made 3 CHs for my Picot.
You would then SL ST into the ST where you made your SC ST (in the ST where you worked your SC)
That SL ST will secure those CHs or Picot ST in place
This is what the Crochet Picot Stitch should look like when completed!
