Free Crochet Pattern: Stunning Sunburst Blanket!

Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a new free pattern from me! My Stunning Sunburst Blanket is so pretty and beginner friendly!

Just a bunch of squares joined together! It would look amazing in any color story!

This is one of those effortlessly attractive patterns!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:

 

Materials:

Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example squares/blanket

Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a I hook for my example squares/blanket – 5.5 MM

Scissors

Stitch Markers

 

Notes:

I Fasten Off each row to change colors:

Crochet Stitches Needed:

Chain – CH

Stitch – ST

Skip – SK

Pattern:

Pick your favorite way to start a circle or square, playlist above!

 

Row 1: Make a circle, CH 3 (counts as 1 DC), make 15 DC into that circle space made, SL ST into CH 3 from beginning, FO

 

Row 2: (Start at any previous ST) CH 2, 1 PF into same ST, *CH1, 1 PF into next ST, repeat from * around, SL ST into CH 1 from beginning, FO

 

Row 3: (Start at any previous CH 2 space), CH 2, 1 CL into same ST, *CH 2, 1 CL into next ST, repeat from * around, SL ST into CH 2 from beginning, FO

 

Row 4: (Start at any previous CH 2 space), CH 4, 2 TR into same space, CH 3, 3 TR into same space, *3 DC into next CH 2 space, 3 HDC into next CH 2 space, 3 DC into next CH 2 space, (3 TR, CH 3, 3 TR) into next CH 2 space, repeat from * around, SL ST into CH 2 from beginning, FO (tutorials above)

 

  • Make 100 total squares

  • I used the Windsor Join to join my squares together:
