A great 'no holes' blanket option!
Just one row repeated!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example blanket
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a I hook for my example blanket – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Notes:

Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK
Double Crochet Stitch (DC):

Pattern:
Make chains in the multiple of 10 + 4, I made 154 Chains for my example blanket
Row 1: 1 DC into the 4th CH from your hook, 1 DC into next CH, 1 DC into next CH, 1 DC into next CH, *DC DEC over the next 3 CHs, 1 DC into next CH X 3, 3 DC into next CH, 1 DC into next CH X 3, repeat from * until you reach the last CH of this row, make 1 DC into the last CH
It’s important to have 4 STs at the beginning and end of each row will help you keep your count correct, so the edges of your blanket stay straight
Row 2: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC), 1 DC into next ST X 3, *DC DEC over the next 3 STs, 1 DC into next ST X 3, 3 DC into next ST, 1 DC into next ST X 3, repeat from * until you have 3 STs + CHs left in this row, 1 DC into next ST X 3, make 1 DC into the tops of the CHs in this row
Repeat Row 2 for however long you want your project
