Pattern:

Pick your favorite way to start a circle or square, playlist above!

Row 1: Make circle, CH 3, 2 DC into center of circle, CH 2, *3 DC into circle, CH 2, Repeat from * 2 more times, SL ST into first DC stitch made in this row

You’ll have 4 sides of 3 DC and 4 corners of CH 2

Row 2: (Start at corner space) CH 3, 2 DC, CH 3, 3 DC all into that corner space, *CH 1, SK 3 STs, 3 DC into the next open space, CH 1, SK 3, (3 DC, CH 3, 3 DC) into the next corner space, repeat from * around, SL ST into the 1st CHs made in this row

Row 3: (Start at corner space) CH 3, 2 DC, CH 3, 3 DC all into that corner space, CH 1 to skip over any block of 3 DC, then 3 DC into any open space, the corners will all be: (3 DC, CH 3, 3 DC)

Repeat Row 3 for how big you want your square

This will be the same pattern throughout. In each open space on any side you will do 3 DC. In-between any 3 DC on the sides you will CH 1. In each corner space you will make 3 DC, CH 2, 3 DC into the same corner space.

  • Make 4 squares

  • I made 19 Rows for each of my example squares

  • You could make more or less rows for how big or small you want your blanket

  • Then join your squares together to make a blanket

  • I used the Join As You Go method, tutorial here!

  • I also have a playlist featuring more Joining tutorials here!
