Thanks for visiting my page! This is my Four Corners Granny Blanket! It's easy and beautiful!

4 regular Granny Squares joined into a big blanket!

Beginner friendly but looks like you put in more work!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example blanket
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a ‘I’ hook for my example blanket – 5.5 MM

Stitch Markers
Notes:

To keep your square/blanket straight, flip your work every row
Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK

Double Crochet Stitch (DC):

Pattern:
Pick your favorite way to start a circle or square, playlist above!
Row 1: Make circle, CH 3, 2 DC into center of circle, CH 2, *3 DC into circle, CH 2, Repeat from * 2 more times, SL ST into first DC stitch made in this row
You’ll have 4 sides of 3 DC and 4 corners of CH 2
Row 2: (Start at corner space) CH 3, 2 DC, CH 3, 3 DC all into that corner space, *CH 1, SK 3 STs, 3 DC into the next open space, CH 1, SK 3, (3 DC, CH 3, 3 DC) into the next corner space, repeat from * around, SL ST into the 1st CHs made in this row
Row 3: (Start at corner space) CH 3, 2 DC, CH 3, 3 DC all into that corner space, CH 1 to skip over any block of 3 DC, then 3 DC into any open space, the corners will all be: (3 DC, CH 3, 3 DC)
Repeat Row 3 for how big you want your square
This will be the same pattern throughout. In each open space on any side you will do 3 DC. In-between any 3 DC on the sides you will CH 1. In each corner space you will make 3 DC, CH 2, 3 DC into the same corner space.

I made 19 Rows for each of my example squares

You could make more or less rows for how big or small you want your blanket

Then join your squares together to make a blanket

Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK

Row 1: Repeat Row 3 of Pattern around all 4 squares to smooth the sides
Row 2: (Start at corner space) CH 3, make 7 DC into that same space, *CH 1, SK 1 ST, SL ST into next ST (previous middle DC), CH 1, SK 1 ST, 1 SC into next CH 1 space, 1 PI on top of that SC just made, repeat from * for the rest of the side until you reach the next corner space, into each corner space make 8 DC, then repeat from * again all the way around. SL ST into the 1st CHs made in this row to complete
