This chevron stitch is easy to make and works up fast!
Fast to work up and looks beautiful in any color scheme!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example blanket
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a ‘I’ hook for my example blanket – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK
Double Crochet Stitch (DC):

Pattern:
Make chains in the multiple of 18, I made 162 CHs for my example blanket
Row 1: 3 DC into the 5th CH from your hook, SK 2 CHs, 3 DC into the next CH, SK 2 CHs,
*Peak: 3 DC into the next CH, CH 2, 3 DC into same CH,
SK 2 CHs, 3 DC into the next CH, SK 2 CHs, 3 DC into the next CH,
Valley: SK 5 CHs,
3 DC into the next CH, SK 2 CHs, 3 DC into the next CH, repeat the steps above from * until you have 1 CH left, make 1 DC into that last CH
Row 2: Make 3 CHs, *SK 3 STs, make 3 DC into space between STs, SK 3 STs, make 3 DC into space between STs, *SK 3 STs, (3 DC, CH 2, 3 DC) into next Peak Space, SK 3 STs, make 3 DC into space between STs, SK 3 STs, make 3 DC into space between STs, SK Valley space, SK 3 STs, make 3 DC into space between STs, SK 3 STs, make 3 DC into space between STs, repeat the steps above from *until you reach the last 3 STs + CHs at the end of your row, SK 3 STs, make 1 DC into the tops of those CHs at the end of your row
Repeat Row 2 for however long you want your project
