Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a new free pattern from me! My Heart To Heart Afghan is easy and beautiful! This is the Granny Stitch in a C2C pattern!
Very beginner friendly!
Looks gorgeous in any color(s)!
A twist on the classic Granny Stitch!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example blanket
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a I hook for my example blanket – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers

Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK
Slip Stitch (SL ST):

Pattern:
Increasing:
Row 1: Make 4 CHs, 3 DC into the 4th CH from your hook, 1 TR into same CH
Row 2: Make 3 CHs, 3 DC in space between previous TR and previous 3 DC, SK over previous 3 DC, Make 3 DC in space between previous beginning CHs and previous 3 DC just skipped, 1 TR into same space as 3 DC just made
Row 3/Increase Row: Make 3 CHs, 3 DC in space between previous TR and previous 3 DC, SK over previous 3 DC, *Skip over previous 3 DC, make 3 DC into space between STs, repeat from * until you reach the last open space in this row, make 3 DC + 1 TR into that last space to complete this row
Repeat Row 3/Increase Row for how wide you want your blanket
Decreasing:
Row 4/Decrease Row: CH 4, SK 4 STs, *3 DC between STs, SK 3 STs, repeat from * until you reach the last 3 STs of this row + CHs/TR as end of row, SK those last 3 STs, work 1 TR into the tops of those Chs/TR as end of this row to complete
Repeat Row 4/Decrease Row until you reach your last Decrease Row
You’ll know it’s your last row, because you’ll only have 1 block of 3 DC left
Last Row/Finish Off: CH 1, turn work,1 SC into middle DC of previous 3 DC block, SL ST into last corner space, CH 1, turn work, SL ST into SC just made to complete this row
