This stitch looks like lined up kitty cats! SO CUTE
Made from a few easy basic stitches! Very easy for beginners!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example blanket
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a ‘I’ hook for my example blanket – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK
Double Crochet Stitch (DC):

Pattern:
Make chains in the multiple of 5, I made 155 CHs for my example blanket
Row 1: Make 1 DC into the 4th CH from your hook, *SK 3 CHs, (2 DC, CH 1, 2 DC) into next CH, repeat from * until you have 5 CHs left, SK 3 CHs, 1 DC into the last CH to complete
Row 2: CH 3, 1 DC into 1st ST, into the next previous DCs + CH + DCs space: Make 2 DC, CH 1, 2 DC into that space, *SK to next CH space, into previous DCs + CH + DCs space: Make 2 DC, CH 1, 2 DC into same space, repeat from * until you have 2 STs left, 1 DC into next ST, 1 DC into last CH space
Row 3: CH 3, 1 DC into 1st ST, SK 1 ST, *into the space between the ST you just skipped and the previous DCs + CH + DCs, make 2 DC SP STs into the space 2 rows down, SK to next previous CH space, into previous DCs + CH + DCs space: Make 2 DC, CH 1, 2 DC into same space, repeat from * until you have 2 STs left, 1 DC into next ST, 1 DC into last CH space
Row 4: CH 3, 1 DC into 1st ST, *SK to next previous CH space, into previous DCs + CH + DCs space: Make 2 DC, CH 1, 2 DC into same space, repeat from * until you have 3 STs left, SK 2 STs, 1 DC into next ST, 1 DC into CHs at the end of this row to complete
Row 5: CH 3, 1 DC into 1st ST, *SK to next previous CH space, into previous DCs + CH + DCs space: Make 2 DC, CH 1, 2 DC into same space, repeat from * until you have 3 STs left, SK 2 STs, 1 DC into next ST, 1 DC into CHs at the end of this row to complete
Repeat Rows 3, 4 & 5 in order for however long you want your project
