Free Crochet Pattern: Twin Flame Afghan!

Materials:

Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example blanket

Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a ‘I’ hook for my example blanket – 5.5 MM

Scissors

Stitch Markers

Crochet Stitches Needed:

Chain – CH

Stitch – ST

Skip – SK

Pattern:

Make chains in the multiple of 6 + 4, I made 160 CHs for my example blanket

Row 1: Make 1 DC into the 5th CH from your hook, SK 4 CHs, make 1 DC V into the next CH, Then make 1 DC V into that same CH with the 1st DC V you made, So that's 2 in the same CH, *SK 4 CHs, make 2 DC V into the next CH, Repeat the step above from * until you have 3 CHs left, SK to the last CH, make 1 DC V into that last CH to complete this row

Row 2: Make 4 CHs, Make 1 DC into the 1st ST, Skip the previous DC V, Make 1 DC V between Sts, SK the previous DC V, Make 1 DC V between STs, *SK the previous DC V, Make 1 DC V between Sts, Repeat the steps above from * until you have 1 DC V left in your row, Make 1 DC into the tops of the CHs at the end of your row, These CHs + 1 DC were acting as a DC V

Row 3: Make 4 CHs, Make 1 DC into the 1st ST, These CHs + 1 DC count as 1 DC V, Skip 1 DC V, make 1 DC V into the next one, Make 1 DC V into that same space as the DC V you just made, *Skip 1 DC V, make 2 DC V into the next one, Repeat the step above until you have 2 DC V left in your row, Skip 1 DC V, make 1 DC V into the next/last one

You would now alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
