Pattern:

Pick your favorite way to start a circle, playlist above!

Row 1: Make circle, CH 3, 2 DC into center of circle, CH 2, *3 DC into circle, CH 2, Repeat from * 2 more times, SL ST into first DC stitch made in this row.

Row 2: CH 3, 2 DC into top right open space corner, over the CH 3 you just made. CH 1, *3 DC in corner space, CH 2, 3 DC into same space, CH 1, repeat from * around the square, SL ST into first CH 3 made in this row.

Fasten off

This is where you would begin the ‘off set’ part of the patterns.

Row 3: Start at the corner of the square you just made, work 3 DC into that open space, *CH 1, 3 DC into next open space, repeat until you reach the next corner. Work 3 DC, CH 2, 3 DC into that open corner space, *CH 1, 3 DC into next open space, repeat until you reach the next corner. In the next corner work only 1 granny block (3 DC). This will complete your 3rd row. You should only have 2 sides done, not 4.

Row 4: CH 4, Skip over first Granny Block from last row, *work 1 Granny Block in next open space, CH 1, repeat until you reach the 1st corner space, Work 3 DC, CH 2, 3 DC into that open corner space, *CH 1, 3 DC into next open space, repeat until you reach the end of the row. Since you started this row with a open space (CH 4) you will end with a open space, after your last granny block CH 1, then work 1 DC into the last ST of this row.

Row 5: CH 3, work 2 DC into same open space as CH 3, this counts as a Granny Block, *CH 1, work 1 Granny Block in next open space, repeat until you reach the next corner space, work 3 DC, CH 2, 3 DC into that open corner space, *CH 1, 3 DC into next open space, repeat until you reach the end of the row. Since you started the row making 1 Granny Block, you will end this row the same way.

You will repeat Rows 4 & 5 for how big you want your blanket
