Tutorial #1:
Start with some yarn + a crochet hook
Drape the yarn over your left pointer finger, the yarn tail will be pointing down
Take that yarn tail under your finger, bring that yarn tail over the yarn on your finger, making a X
Take your crochet hook, insert your hook under the right loop of the X, grabbing the left loop of the X
Take that left loop under the right loop
Grab both the yarn tail + working yarn (the yarn attached to the skein/yarn ball), then pull them both down at the same time to complete this Slip Knot
Tutorial #2:
You'll need some yarn and a crochet hook
Take the yarn tail, drape it over your crochet hook, with the tail behind your hook
Then drape that yarn tail back over your hook, facing away from you and making a X on your hook
Grab the back loop on the X on your hook
Bring that loop over the rest of the X and over the end of your crochet hook
Grab both the yarn tail + working yarn (the yarn attached to the skein/yarn ball), then pull them both down at the same time to complete this Slip Knot
Tutorial #3:
We'll be starting with yarn, then bring in our crochet hook later
Drape the yarn tail end over your fingers, hold the yarn end with your pinky and thumb
Bring in your hook, put your hook under the yarn tail
You'll rotate your hook down and around the yarn tail to make a loop on your hook (This is much easier to see in my Video Tutorial here!)
Grab the working yarn with your crochet hook
Pull that yarn through the loop already on your hook
Grab both the yarn tail + working yarn (the yarn attached to the skein/yarn ball), then pull them both down at the same time to complete this Slip Knot
That's all 3 tutorials! I hope this was helpful 😊
