Photo Tutorial – Crochet Pattern: Prima Drama Afghan!

Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make my Prima Drama Afghan!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this blanket

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! And how to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here!

 

❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈

 

Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 3 + 1, I made 157 chains for my example blanket

Row 1: Make 1 DC into the 4th CH from your hook

Make 1 DC into the next CH

*Make 1 CH, SK 1 CH

Make 1 DC into each of the next 3 CHs

 

Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row

Row 2: Make 3 CHs (Counts as 1 DC)

*Make 1 DC into each of the next 2 STs

 

Make 1 CH, SK 1 ST

 

Make 1 DC into CH/ST below next previous CH space

For Row 2: It will be the CH below, for any rows going forward it will be the ST below

Repeat the steps above from * until you only have some CHs left

Make 1 DC into the top of those last CHs to complete this row

 

You would now repeat Row 2 for however long you want your project

This is what how my Prima Drama Afghan should look like when completed!
