Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make my Sassy Blocks Afghan!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this blanket.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! And how to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here!

Make chains in the multipole of 3 + 1 for how wide you want your blanket
I made 160 chains for my example blanket
Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook
*Make 2 CHs, skip 2 CHs
Make 1 SC into the next CH
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of your row
Row 2: Make 3 CHs
*Skip 1 ST, make 3 DC into previous CH 2 space
Repeat the step above from * until you reach the last ST in this row
Make 1 DC into that last ST to complete this row
Row 3: Make 1 CH
Make 1 SC into the 1st ST
*Make 3 CHs, skip 3 STs
Make 1 SC in-between previous DC STs
Repeat the steps above from * until you have 3 CHs + some CHs left in this row
Skip those 3 STs, make 1 SC into the space between those STS and CHs to complete this row
You would now alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your blanket
This is what your Sassy Blocks Afghan should look like when completed!
