Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Forked Cluster Stitch!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! And how to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here!

Starting from the beginning, make any number of chains

Row 1: We are going to start immediately making the Forked Cluster Stitches

Yarn over your hook 1 time

Insert your hook into the 4th CH from your hook, grab that yarn, pull it through, pulling up 1 loop (You'll have 3 loops on your hook right now)

*Yarn over your hook 1 time

Insert your hook into the next CH, grab that yarn, pull it through, pulling up 1 loop (You'll have 5 loops on your hook right now)

Yarn over your hook 1 time

Take that yarn through 3 loops only (You'll have 3 loops left on your hook)

Yarn over your hook 1 time

Take that yarn through the last 3 loops on your hook to complete that Forked Cluster Stitch

Next one: Yarn over your hook 1 time

Insert your hook into the CH we were just working into, the one we just made the last Forked Cluster into, grab that yarn, pull it through, pulling up 1 loop (You'll have 3 loops on your hook right now)

Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row, until you have only have 1 CH left

Make 1 DC into that last CH of this row to complete

Row 2: Make 1 CH

Then make 1 SC into each ST across

Row 3: Make 3 CHs

We're again going to make Forked Cluster Stitches, yarn over your hook 1 time

Insert your hook into the 1st ST, grab that yarn, pull it through, pulling up 1 loop (You'll have 3 loops on your hook right now)

*Yarn over your hook 1 time

Insert your hook into the next ST, grab that yarn, pull it through, pulling up 1 loop (You'll have 5 loops on your hook right now)

Yarn over your hook 1 time

Take that yarn through 3 loops only (Leaving 3 loops left on your hook)

Yarn over your hook 1 time

Take that yarn through the last 3 loops on your hook to complete that Forked Cluster Stitch

Next One: Yarn over your hook 1 time

Insert your hook into the ST we were just working into, the one we just made the last Forked Cluster into, grab that yarn, pull it through, pulling up 1 loop (You'll have 3 loops on your hook right now)

Repeat the steps above from * until you have 1 ST left in this row

Then make 1 DC into the last ST of this row to complete

You would now alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project

This is what the Forked Cluster Stitch should look like when completed!
