Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Ignite Spike Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! And how to make the Single Crochet Spike Stitch (SC SP), tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make an even number of chains

Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook
Make 1 SC into each CH across to complete this row
Row 2: Make 1 CH
Then make 1 SC into each ST across to complete this row
Row 3 & 4: Repeat Row 2
Row 5: Make 1 CH
Make 1 SC into the 1st ST
*Spike ST: Insert your hook into the next ST, grab the yarn you're working with, pull it through, pulling up 1 loop
Insert your hook into the ST under the next ST, grab the yarn you're working with, pull it through, pulling up 1 loop
Insert your hook into the ST under the ST you were just working into, grab the yarn you're working with, pull it through, pulling up 1 loop
Yarn over your hook 1 time
Take that yarn through all 4 loops on your hook
Make 1 CH to hold this ST all together
Make 1 SC into the next ST
Repeat the steps above from *, then make 1 SC into each ST when you run out of room for Spike Stitches
You would now repeat Row 2 for a total of 3 rows, then repeat Row 5 for however long you want your project
This is what the Ignite Spike Stitch should look like when completed!
