First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! And how to make the Iris Stitch, tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 10 + 1

Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook
*CH 5
Skip 4 CHs, make 1 SC into the next CH
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row
Row 2: CH 3
Make 2 DC into the 1st ST
Make 1 SC into the next CH space
*CH 5
Skip to the next CH space, make 1 SC into that space
Make 2 SC, CH 1, 2 DC into the next ST/SC
Make 1 SC into the next CH space
Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 1 ST left
Make 3 DC into that last ST to complete this row
Row 3: CH 1
Make 1 SC into the 1st ST
CH 5
*Skip to the next CH space, make 1 SC into that space
CH 5, Skip to the next CH space, make 1 SC into that space
Repeat the steps above from * until you reach the last STs in this row
Skip to the last ST/CHs in this row, make 1 SC into that ST/CHs to complete this row
Row 4: Make 5 CHs
Skip to next CH space, make 1 SC into that space
*Make 2 SC, CH 1, 2 DC into the next ST/SC
Skip to next CH space, make 1 SC into that space
CH 5
Skip to next CH space, make 1 SC into that space
Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 1 ST left in this row
CH 2
Make 1 DC into that last ST to complete this row
Row 5: CH 1
Make 1 SC into 1st ST
*CH 5, Skip to the next CH space, make 1 SC into that space
Repeat the step above from * for the rest of this row
You would now repeat Rows 2, 3, 4 & 5 in order for however long your want your project
