Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Moss & Puff Stitch!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch

Starting from the beginning, make an even number of chains

Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook

*Make 1 CH, skip 1 CH

Make 1 SC into the next CH

Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row

Row 2: Make 1 CH

Skip the 1st ST, make 1 SC into the next CH space

*Make 1 CH, skip the next ST

Make 1 SC into the next CH space

Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 1 ST left

Make 1 SC into that last ST to complete this row

Row 3: Make 2 CHs

Skip to the next CH space, *make 1 PF ST into the next CH space

Yarn over your hook 1 time, insert your hook into that CH space, grab the yarn you're working with, pull it through, pulling up 1 loop, yarn over your hook 1 time, insert your hook back into that same CH space, grab the yarn you're working with, pull it through, pulling up 1 loop, yarn over your hook 1 time, insert your hook back into that same CH space, grab the yarn you're working with, pull it through, pulling up 1 loop, yarn over your hook 1 time, take that yarn through all of the loops on your hook to complete that PF ST
