Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Paradise Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Extended Single Crochet Stitch (ESC), tutorial here! How to make the Half Double Crochet Stitch (HDC), tutorial here! And how to work in the back Loops, tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make an even number of chains
❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈
Row 1: Make 1 HDC into the 3rd CH from your hook
Then make 1 HDC into each CH across
Row 2: Make 2 CHs
Make 1 HDC into the 1st ST
*Make 1 ESC into the next ST
Make 1 HDC into the next ST
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row
Row 3: Make 1 CH
Then work 1 SC into each Back Loop of each ST across
You would now Alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
This is what the Paradise Stitch should look like when completed!
