Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Secret Stash Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! How to make the Cluster Stitch (CL ST), tutorial here! And how to make the Fir Stitch, tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 3 + 1

Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook
Then make 1 SC into each CH across
Row 2: Make 3 CHs
*Skip 1 ST,
Make 1 (3 DC) CL ST into the next ST
Yarn over 1 time, insert your hook into that ST, grab that yarn and pull it through, pulling up 1 loop on your hook, yarn over 1 time, take that yarn through 2 loops on your hook, that will be the bottom of 1 DC, yarn over your hook 1 time, insert your hook back into that same ST, grab that yarn and pull it through, pulling up 1 loop on your hook, yarn over 1 time, take that yarn through 2 loops on your hook, yarn over your hook 1 time, insert your hook back into that same ST, grab that yarn and pull it through, pulling up 1 loop on your hook, yarn over 1 time, take that yarn through 2 loops on your hook, you'll have the bottom of 3 DCs on your hook, yarn over your hook 1 time, take that yarn through all of the loops on your hook to complete
Skip 1 ST,
(1 DC, CH 2, 1 DC) into the next ST
Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 1 ST left
Make 1 DC into that last ST to complete
Row 3: Make 3 CHs
*Skip 1 ST,
Make that same 1 (3 DC) CL ST into the next previous CH 2 space
Yarn over 1 time, insert your hook into that ST, grab that yarn and pull it through, pulling up 1 loop on your hook, yarn over 1 time, take that yarn through 2 loops on your hook, that will be the bottom of 1 DC, yarn over your hook 1 time, insert your hook back into that same ST, grab that yarn and pull it through, pulling up 1 loop on your hook, yarn over 1 time, take that yarn through 2 loops on your hook, yarn over your hook 1 time, insert your hook back into that same ST, grab that yarn and pull it through, pulling up 1 loop on your hook, yarn over 1 time, take that yarn through 2 loops on your hook, you'll have the bottom of 3 DCs on your hook, yarn over your hook 1 time, take that yarn through all of the loops on your hook to complete
Skip 1 ST,
(1 DC, CH 2, 1 DC) into next previous CL ST
Repeat the steps above from * until you only have some CHs left at the end of this row
Make 1 DC into the top of those CHs to complete this row
You would now alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
This is what the Secret Stash Stitch should look like when completed!
