Starting from the beginning, make an odd number of chains
❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈
Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook, then make 1 SC into each CH across for the rest of this row
Row 2: Make 1 CH
We are going to start with a PF ST: Yarn over your hook 1 time
Insert your hook into ST, grab the yarn you're working with, pull it through, pulling up 1 loop
(you'll have 3 loops on your hook)
Yarn over your hook 1 time
Insert your hook back into the same ST, grab that yarn, pull it through, pulling up another loop on your hook
(you'll have 5 loops on your hook)
Yarn over your hook 1 time
Take that yarn through all of the loops on your hook
*SL ST into the next ST
We're going to start our next PF ST into the ST where we just made our SL ST
Yarn over your hook 1 time, insert your hook into that ST, grab that yarn and pull it through, pulling up 1 loop
(you'll have 3 loops on your hook)
Yarn over your hook 1 time
Insert your hook into the NEXT ST, grab that yarn and pull it through, pulling up 1 loop
(you'll have 5 loops on your hook)
Yarn over your hook 1 time
Take that yarn through all of the loops on your hook to complete that PF ST
Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 1 ST left in this row
Make 1 SL ST into that last ST to complete this row
Row 3: Make 1 CH
Then make 1 SC into each ST across for this row
Alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
