Photo Tutorial – How To Crochet: Synched Up Stitch!

 Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Synched Up Stitch!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! And how to make the Double Crochet V Stitch (DC V), tutorial here!

 

Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 5 + 3

❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈

 

Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook

Make 1 SC into the next CH

*CH 3

Skip 3 CHs, make 1 SC into each of the next 2 CHs

Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row

Row 2: CH 3, these CHs count as 1 DC, so you can skip the 1st ST

Make 1 DC into the next ST

*Skip the next CH space, make 1 DC V into each of the next 2 STs

Repeat the step above from * until you only have 2 STs left

Skip the last CH space, make 1 DC into each of the last 2 STs

Row 3: CH 1

*Make 1 SC into each of the next 2 STs

*Make 3 CHs

Skip to the middle 2 STs in the previous DC V STs, make 1 SC into each of those STs

Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 1 ST + some CHs left

Make 1 SC into the last ST and 1 SC into the top of the last CHs to complete this row

 

 

You would now alternate between Rows 2 & 3 in order for however long you want your project

This is what the Synched Up Stitch should look like when completed!
