Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Under Half Double Crochet Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! And how to make the Half Double Crochet Stitch (HDC), tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make any number of chains

Row 1: So the main difference between regular HDC Stitches and the Under HDC Stitch is the way you YARN UNDER your hook to start the stitch (shown above)
So you'll yarn under, then complete the HDC ST like normal (Make this Under HDC ST into the 2nd CH from your hook to start row 1)
Then yarn under, complete 1 HDC into each CH across for the rest of this row
Row 2: Make 2 CHs
So same thing with row 2, yarn under then complete 1 HDC into each ST across
You would now repeat Row 2 for however long you want your project
This is what the Under Half Double Crochet Stitch should look like when completed!
