
To begin make an even number of chains

Row 1: Make 1 HDC into the 4th CH from your hook

*Skip 1 CH, Make 1 HDC V into the next CH

Skip 1 CH, make 1 HDC V into the next CH

Repeat the steps above from * until you have 2 CHs left in your row


Skip 1 CH, make 1 HDC into the last CH of Row 1

Row 2: Make 1 CH

Into the open space from a previous HDC V, make 1 SC

Make 1 HDC into that same space

Make 1 HDC into that same space, so that's 1 SC + 2 HDC into that space total

*Skip to the next previous HDC V, make 1 SC + 2 HDC into that space

Repeat the step above from * until you have 2 STs left in your row


Skip 1 ST, make 1 SC into the last ST of Row 2

Row 3: Make 2 CHs

Skip 2 STs, make 1 HDC V into the next ST

Skip 2 STs, make 1 HDC V into the next ST

*Skip 2 STs, make 1 HDC V into the next ST

Repeat the step above from * until you have 1 ST left in your row


Make 1 HDC into the last ST of Row 3
Alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want you project
