Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a new free pattern from me! My Classic Shell Afghan Pattern is so cute and easy to make!
This blanket is a simple shell stitch in a rainbow coloring. But this blanket would look amazing in any color scheme!
Made from a few easy basic stitches! Also a great choice for a blanket with 'no holes'!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example blanket
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a I hook for my example blanket – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK
Single Crochet Stitch (SC):

Pattern:
To start from the beginning: Make chains in the multiples of 6 + 2
Row 1: 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook, *SK 2 CHs, make a 5 DC Shell into the next ST, SK 2 CHs, 1 SC into the next CH, repeat * from until the end of your 1st row, depending on the chains you made for width, you can end with 3 DC in the last CH or 1 SC in the last CH. If you end with 3 DC, go to Row 2. If you end with 1 SC go to Row 3
Row 2: CH 1, 1 SC into 1st ST, *SK 2 STs, 5 DC Shell into next ST, SK 2 STs, 1 SC into next ST, repeat from * until you have 2 STs + some CHs left in this row, SK 2 STs, make 1 DC into the top of those CHs to complete
Row 3: CH 3, 2 DC into 1st ST, *SK 2 STs, 1 SC into next ST, SK 2 STs, 5 DC Shell into next ST, repeat from * until you only have 3 STs left in this row, SK 2 STs, make 3 DC into the last ST of this row
(If row 3 became your row 2, go forward to Row 2 next)
Alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
