A cute hexagon in the fun Block Stitch pattern!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example hexagon
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a ‘I’ hook for my example hexagon – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers

Pattern:
Pick your favorite way to start a circle, playlist above!
Row 1: Make circle, CH 3, 1 DC, *CH 2, 2 DC, repeat from * until you have 6 sets of 2 DC, SL ST into the 1st CHs made in this row
Row 2: (Start at any CH 2 space) CH 4, 1 SC into same space, *CH 2, SK 2 STs, (1 SC, CH 3, 1 SC) into next CH space, repeat from * around, SL ST into 1st CHs made to complete
Row 3: (Start at any previous corner space) (CH 3, 1 DC, CH 2, 2 DC) into that space, *SK to next CH space, 2 DC into that space, SK to next corner space, (2 DC, CH 2, 2 DC) into that space, repeat from * around, SL ST into 1st CHs made to complete
Row 4: (Start at any previous corner space) CH 4, 1 SC into same space, *CH 2, SK 2 STs, 1 SC in space between STs, repeat from * for each side. Corner space: (1 SC, CH 3, 1 SC), repeat from * around, SL ST into 1st CHs made to complete
Row 5: (Start at any previous corner space) (CH 6, 1 DC) into that space, *SK to next CH space, 2 DC into that space, repeat from * for each side. Corner space: (1 DC, CH 3, 1 DC) into that space, repeat from * around, SL ST into 1st CHs made to complete
Alternate between Rows 4 & 5 for how big you want your hexagon motif
