Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example blanket
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a I hook for my example blanket – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK
Double Crochet Stitch (DC):

Pattern:
Make chains in the multiple of 3 + 2, I made 155 chains for my example blanket
Row 1: Make 2 DC into the 4th CH from your hook, *SK 2 CHs, 3 DC into the next CH, repeat from * for the rest of your row
Row 2: CH 3, 1 DC into 1st ST, SK 2 STs, *3 DC into the next ST, SK 2 STs, repeat from * until you reach the end of your row, make 1 DC into the last ST of your row
Repeat Row 2 for however long you want your project, I made 80 Rows for my example blanket
