Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make my Twin Flame Afghan!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this blanket pattern
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet V Stitch (DC V), tutorial here! And how to make the Fir Stitch, tutorial here!

Starting from the beginning making chains, make chains in the multiple of 6 + 4
I made 160 chains for my example blanket
Row 1: Make 1 DC into the 5th CH from your hook
*Skip 4 CHs, make (1 DC V + 1 DC V) into the next CH
So all together in that CH: (1 DC, CH 1, 1 DC, 1 DC, CH 1, 1 DC)
Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 5 CHs left
Skip to the last CH, then make 1 DC V (1 DC, CH 1, 1 DC) into that CH to complete this row
Row 2: Make 4 CHs
Make 1 DC into the 1st ST
*Skip the next previous DC V ST, make 1 DC V into the next space between STs
Same thing with the next V ST shell we made in our last row
It's basically 2 DC V STs into the same CH, so you'll skip 1, then make 1 DC V into the space between STs
Repeat the steps above from * until you only have some CHs left
Make 1 DC into the top of those last CHs to complete this row
Row 3: Make 4 CHs
Make 1 DC into 1st ST
*Skip 1 previous DC V, make (1 DC V + 1 DC V) into the next previous DC V ST
So all together in that previous DC V: (1 DC, CH 1, 1 DC, 1 DC, CH 1, 1 DC)
Repeat the step above from * until you only have 1 DC V, 1 ST + some CHs left
Skip the last DC V, skip the last ST, make 1 DC into the top of the last CHs to complete this row
You would now alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
This is what my Twin Flame Afghan should look like when completed!
