Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Cluster Kisses Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! And how to make the Cluster Stitch (CL ST), tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make an even number of chains
❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈
Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 4th CH from your hook
*Make 1 CH, Skip 1 CH
Make 1 SC into the next CH
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row
Row 2: Make 2 CHs
Make 1 DC into the 1st ST
*Make 3 DC Cluster into the next previous CH 1 space
(The bottoms of 3 DC then close them all together)
Make 1 CH, Skip to next previous CH 1 space
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row
Row 3: Make 2 CHs
Make 1 DC into the 1st ST
*Skip previous CL ST, make 1 DC into the previous CH 1 space
Make 1 DC over the DC just made, into the space to the right of the previous CL ST
Repeat the steps above from * until you have CHs left at the end of this row
Make 1 DC into the tops of those CHs to end this row
Row 4: Make 1 CH
Make 1 SC into the 1st ST
*Make 1 CH
Skip the previous 2 DC, make 1 SC between those STs
Repeat the steps above from * until you have the last 3 STs + some CHs left in this row
Skip those STs, make 1 SC into the tops of those CHs to complete this row
You would now repeat Rows 2, 3 & 4 in order for however long you want your project
This is what the Cluster Kisses Stitch should look like when completed!
