Photo Tutorial – How To Crochet: Miss Bliss Stitch!

Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Miss Bliss Stitch!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! And how to make the Front Post Single Crochet Stitch (FPSC), tutorial here!

Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 4 + 2

 

❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈

 

Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook

*Make 3 CHs

Skip 3 CHs, make 1 SC into the next CH

Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row

Row 2: Make 3 CHs

Make 1 DC into the 1st ST

*Skip CH space, make 3 DC into the next previous SC ST

Repeat the step above from * until you reach the last CH space in this row

Skip that CH space, make 2 DC into the last ST of this row

Row 3: Make 1 CH

Make 1 SC into the 1st ST

*Make 3 CHs

SK to middle DC of next previous 3 DC, make 1 FPSC over that middle ST

Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 2 STS left

Make 1 SC into 2nd to last ST

Then make 1 SC into the last ST of this row

 

Alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project

This is what how the Miss Bliss Stitch should look like when completed!
