Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Raised Hatch Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make chains, tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! And how to make the Front Post Single Crochet Stitch (FPSC), tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 4
❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈
Row 1: Make 2 DC into the 4th CH from your hook
*Skip 3 CHs, make 1 SC into the next CH
Make 3 CHs
Make 3 DC into the CH with that SC we made
Repeat the steps above from * until you have 4 CHs left in your row
Skip 3 CHs, make 1 SC into the last CH to complete this row
Row 2: Make 3 CHs
Make 2 DC into the 1st ST
Make 1 FPSC over/into the 3rd DC of the previous block of 3 DC
*Make 3 CHs
Into the previous CH 3 space make 3 DC into that space
Skip to the next block of previous 3 DC, make 1 FPSC into the 3rd one of that block
Repeat the steps above from * until you reach the last STs/CHs left in your row
Skip the STs, make 1 SC into the CHs at the end of this row to complete
You would now repeat Row 2 for however long you want your project
This is what the Raised Hatch Stitch should look like when completed!
