Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example blanket
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a ‘I’ hook for my example blanket – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK
Double Crochet Stitch (DC):

Pattern:
Make chains in the multiple of 10 + 3, I made 153 CHs for my example blanket
Row 1: 1 DC into 3rd CH from your hook, *CH 1, SK 4 CHs, (3 DC, CH 2, 3 DC) into next CH, CH 1, SK 4 CHs, (1 DC, CH 2, 1 DC) into next CH, repeat from * for the rest of this row, SK last 4 CHs, 2 DC into last CH
Row 2: CH 3, 1 DC into 1st ST, *CH 1, SK to next CH space, (3 DC, CH 2, 3 DC) into that space, CH 1, SK to next CH space, (1 DC, CH 2, 1 DC) into that space, repeat from * for the rest of this row, 2 DC into last ST
Repeat Row 2 for however long you want your project
