Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a new free pattern from me! My Sunday Brunch Afghan is fun to make and full of gorgeous texture!
Very beginner friendly and works up quickly!
Would look amazing in any color combo!
Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example blanket
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a ‘I’ hook for my example blanket – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK
Double Crochet Stitch (DC):

Pattern:
Make chains in the multiple of 3 + 2, I made 152 CHs for my example blanket
Row 1: 1 DC into the 4th CH from your hook, 1 DC into each CH across
Row 2: CH 2, SK 1 ST, 1 DC into next ST, *1 FPDC into next ST, 1 FPDC into next ST, 1 DC into next ST, repeat from * until you reach the last ST of the row, 1 DC into that last ST
Row 3: CH 2, *SK 1st ST, 1 DC into next ST, 1 DC into next ST, 1 FP DC into next ST, repeat from * until you reach the last ST of the row, 1 DC into last ST
Alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
