Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a new free pattern from me! My Cozy Delight Afghan is a fun twist on a regular granny square blanket!
Very beginner friendly pattern
So easy to make and works up quickly

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example square/blanket
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a I hook for my example square/blanket – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Notes:

To keep your square straight, flip your work every row
Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK

Pattern:
Granny Squares:
Pick your favorite way to start a circle or square, playlist above!
Make 4 granny squares to join together, I made 4 rows on each of my SQs

You would then join the squares one by one, using the Join As You Go Method:

Blanket:
Row 1: Once you have your squares joined. Start at any corner space, make 3 CHs, 2 DC into same space, CH 3, 3 DC into same space, *CH 1, SK 3 STs, 3 DC into next CH space, repeat from * until you reach the next corner space, (3 DC, CH 3, 3 DC) into the next corner space, repeat from * around, SL ST into the 1st CHs made in this row
Repeat this row for how big you want your blanket
